At Muzo we are passionate about encouraging social interaction, good health and well- being in the community and in the workplace. We show architects, dealers and end- users how performance and music ideals can provide the inspiration for truly engaging environments and social change.

Darren Buttle, our CEO, has enjoyed a parallel career in the music and office furniture industries for more than 20 years. He draws on his research and experience in these two fields to examine the significant role that music and engaging furniture design can play in improving the well-being of students in learning environments and adults in businesses. Darren wrote the folk song American Dream to tell his own life story and also pay tribute to musicians who are not only educators, but have contributed to social change such as Woody Guthrie. He believes kids today need to know who Woody Guthrie is and what he did for America and the world.

Our aim is to help educate schools on the importance of music in the curriculum and reverse the trend of cutting music budgets. We hope other forward-thinking businesses will join our cause.

Recorded in Nashville by the Muzo band featuring iTunes chart topping artist Beth McCarthy among our very own in house musicians, American Dream was recently debuted at the Woody Guthrie Theatre.

Download American Dream and help us make a difference in inspiring leaders of the future – All proceeds from the song will be donated to the Woody Guthrie Center.
