Warehouse/Production Supervisor

Overview

A warehouse/production team member is required to assist with warehouse management, and production. This hands-on role will require experience of moving stock in multiple warehouse locations and assembling products ready for dispatch. You will be confident with the use of power tools for assembly purposes. The role will require assisting with loading/unloading trucks via forklift and hand pallet trucks. A general level of fitness will be required, due to the physical nature of the role and you should be comfortable lifting weights up to but not limited to 50 pounds. You may also be required to drive company vehicles including a 16ft truck.

You will learn how our various products are assembled and packed ready for transport. Attention to detail is important to meet our high standards and provide great customer satisfaction. Responsibilites

  • Receiving Stock into the warehouse (FLT required, but training can be provided for the right candidate)
  • Despatching orders (FLT required, but training can be provided for the right candidate)
  • Assembling orders and packing prior to dispatch.
  • Assisting Supervisor/Manager with stock takes and other ad hoc tasks.

Requirements

  • Warehouse/ Production environment experience
  • Quick learner, able to pick up new skills and learn new technologies.
  • Must be able to manage time efficient and work independently as well as part of the Warehouse/Production team.
  • All company employees will learn how the products work and are assembled; therefore, you should be comfortable with light material handling and the use of basic power tools.
  • There may be times when you will be asked to assist with the running of a company event or exhibition where there might be an element of travel and manual labor.

Desirable Qualifications / Experience

  • SAP Business one ERP
  • Furniture Industry experience
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish, very desirable)
